Slick2D Wiki has arrived!

Dear Slick2D users, The very best roulette along with texas hold’em upon our website best online casino. Head to and find massive bonus deals!

About a week ago we deployed a Wiki with the hope of in a few Months having enough basic content and structure to put it up on the website and roll it out as a useful resource for new users and veterans alike. It is with great pleasure that I announce not only are we releasing it way earlier than antiscipated, but the response from the community has been fantastic.

As of today you will find a link to the new Wiki in the header of the website under the Documentation section. Unfortunately with the internet being what it is these days, we have had to disable automatic user registration due to attacks from bots and such, but if you feel you have something to add that would be beneficial drop a post in the forums and we will get you set up.

We still have a way to go with this new piece of kit but are certain we are on the right track. On behalf of everyone involved with Slick2D I would like to extend our thanks and gratitude to everyone who has contributed so far, not only are you educating a whole new generation of users but you are showing not only do we still have a community, we have a strong community.

Onwards and upwards, happy halloween!
Your Slick2D Team

Website Updates

Several new things have been added to the website, I don’t currently have the environment in place to put together a full distribution download (which I realise is important) but I have at least provided the very latest lib download.

The documentation has been split out into JavaDoc, License and Source Tree with a Wiki coming soon, downloads has been split into Source Code and Library Only with Full Distribution coming soon, I am hopefully replacing my ISP this month and will be running my own machine at home that will be able to chron build everything so we should also soon have nightly builds.

If you have any requests or improvements for the new website please be vocal on the forums, we’ll get there :)

Alrighty then,

After waiting *forever* for my bloody internet we now have the latest version of the Slick2D Javadocs uploaded which is pretty handy. I have pinched the simple text on the right hand side from the old site, migrated the ‘project details’ page over, and linked us up to the forums and download page.

I guess the next stage would be to get the logo set up and figure out the following:

  • Are we keeping the current Wiki or should I create a new one?
  • Are we keeping the current Forums or should I create some new ones?

Both would be very easy to migrate over, I guess its a question of how much do we want to have everything ‘under one roof’ so to speak.

New Website?

Hello world,

It appears the future of Slick’s online presence is currently uncertain so I have decided to have a crack at starting to put a half decent website together for the project going forwards. This of course depends on community feedback (primarily davedes on the Forums as he seems to be keeping everything alive at present) and could be a pointless venture ;)

I am going to attempt to bring as much on-site as possible (aside from the Forums as I believe these are being taken care of just fine) and if everything goes well we could potentially be looking at a nice new online presence that can be maintained by everyone involved in the project.

Thank’s for reading,
